About the Founder

Samuel Rad is a licensed General Contractor (CA CSLB #1145069) with 20+ years of hands‑on design, construction, engineering project management, and architectural training experience. He has completed over 200 residential and commercial projects across the U.S. and Canada.
Samuel lives and works in Laguna Beach with a focus on local coastal projects, modern design, and resilient building practices. His approach blends minimalist aesthetics with engineering precision and efficiency.

Our Process

1. Site Walk & Consultation
We meet on your property to understand the project, constraints, budget, goals, and opportunities unique to your site.

2. Concept Design & Budget Alignment
We create a clean, modern concept design with early pricing so you clearly understand scope, budget, and options before committing.

3. Architecture, Engineering & Technical Drawings
We prepare all architectural plans and coordinate structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, Title 24, and any specialty engineering needed.
4. City Submittal & Permitting
Laguna Beach has complex zoning, height restrictions, fire zones, slope rules, and coastal requirements. We manage the entire permitting process, including responses, revisions, and corrections, until the permit is approved.
5. Construction & Project Management
A disciplined build process with clear timelines, weekly updates, and clean workmanship. We handle all trades, inspections, scheduling, purchasing, and quality control.
6. Completion, Walk-Through & Handover
We finalize all details, complete a joint walk-through, address any touch-ups, and deliver the finished project with documentation and warranties.
